God remembers no more,
our sin, our disgrace . . .
His mercy forgets them
thru our faith in His grace.
Our past shortcomings,
He’ll not again analyze
for our former failures
we won’t be penalized.
God remembers no more,
our mistakes, our shame
on our souls He took pity
so His peace we could claim.
All of our rebellion,
He envisions no more
our earlier transgressions
He’ll not again explore.
God remembers no more,
our shame, our sin . . .
no longer do we need
to carry disgrace within!
~~~~~~~~
“For I will forgive
their iniquity, and I will
remember their sin no more.”
What a good God who through the Works of Christ remembers our sins no more! Thank you for this poem.
Satan would love to drag us back in the past, through the mud and sludge of our failures, but we don’t have to go there. Instead we can bury Satan in them and cover him up with the grace, mercy and favor God has given each of us! ~ Blessings ~
