Not Having That Conversation ~

I refuse to go there,
not having that conversation
for I know to my soul . . .
it’ll only bring devastation.

I refuse to speak about,
all the deceitful things
not going to fall anymore
for the destruction it brings.

I refuse to converse,
with the old, corrupt man
not going to let him have
ever again the upper hand.

I refuse to communicate,
on that ungodly level
for it’s a costly exchange
with our enemy, the devil.

I refuse to go there,
not having that conversation
but I’ll talk about Jesus . . .
without any reservation!
