Where there is peace,
there is thanksgiving
where there is praise
there is holy living.
Where there is calm,
there is joyfulness
where there is trust
there is cheerfulness.
Where there is tranquility,
there is anticipation
where there is hope
there is salvation.
Where there is serenity,
there is reliance
where there is faith
there is guidance.
Where there is peace,
there is thanksgiving
where there is gratitude
there is a calm unflinching!
~~~~~~~
“Peace I leave with you,
my peace I give unto you:
not as the world giveth,
give I unto you.
Let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid.”
I like your poem, and I’m so glad you added the actual text from John 14:27 at the bottom. I found the visual is quite troubling and completely out of step with your poem, the verse, and the rest of your posts in general. The idea conveyed in this particular visual is clearly one of pantheism not Christianity. Meant with the best intentions.
I had to look up pantheism and need to study it further and compare it to the words on the picture and if indeed it relates to this theory I will be removing it. Thank you for the heads up . . . I don’t want to send mix messages out there. ~ Have a blessed day with Jesus ~
You’re welcome Deborah Ann. Basically pantheism is worshipping God as part of all nature, or all creation as God. Christianity, as I.m sure you’re aware, recognizes a strict creator/creation distinction.
Yes, I know I knew what it was but the name threw me, so now that I have looked it up I will go and change the picture to one more suitable for verse and poems. ~ Have a blessed day with Jesus ~
