Me too. I am so fortunate to have a number of great people who return my comments and I’m always a day behind no matter how hard I try!

It is a great day, so beautiful here. I now live in the southern desert area between LA and San Diego. HOT!…but pretty.

I love San Diego almost moved there when I was in my early 20’s. But, couldn’t afford it back then, nor could I now. Grew up in the Bay Area loved it! WA state is so beautiful, where there was once a golden tan now only looks like rust! It rains a lot 🙂 but, all that rain makes things so beautiful so can’t complain at least not until March!

I know Washington state pretty well. I love rain and the beauty of God’s world which it brings out.

I think I told you I lived in SF for about 7 years back in the 1990’s. I liked the cool temps. but not much else. Waayyy too expensive to even rent, let alone buy a home!!!!!!! SD is the same way…

Yes, the prices in CA are so high. We knew once we left we could never afford to go back. Here things are more resonable. The weather takes some getting use to but you diffently have all four seasons. I love when it snows here . . . it just so beautiful and peaceful and thankfully never last more than a few days at any one time. We can go to bed with 6 inches of snow and wake up with and inch of slush and rain!

Oh, you can tell me all about that place…I’m with you 100 %! If I had the chance to move, I’d head up to the great North West in a “New York minute!” haha…

New York Minute I hear is now about an hour 🙂 yes, today we have rain and thunder storms rolling in and out. Nice day to stay in and get caught up on my writings. Summer is so hard for me to keep up with things and once fall comes I have a lot more time to read, study and write. By early Spring I can’t wait to get back outside . . . oh, if only . . . I could find a better balance of rain!

Oh Deborah, you sound like me. I always wish I could find a bit of the “four season” in Calif. But much of the state is covered in sunshine much of the year.

I love a bit of rain, more that the 8-10″ we get each year here. And when the rain does come, it’s usually a cloudburst and is gone in an hour to an afternoon. And then…more sun for such a long time.

Oh well, what can we do?

                      🙂

I need to build me an ark as the average rainfall is 36 inches a year 🙂 oh, my!

Oh Deborah, pipe some of that rain down here to California! Send it to my attention in fact so I can “make it rain” in my city!

Well . . . that’s a tall order for me, but not for God so I will put in my prayer request 🙂 ~ Blessings to you Steve ~

Thanks…also pray for the El Nino this winter. It may bring some much needed rain to Cali…

I know that one is on schedule for here so I will pray it will make it your way. We just had a huge strom blow through on Sat. lost power for 18 hours and it is raining like it in the middle of fall not the end of summer. If this is any indication of waht is ahead I’ll need to start on that Ark 🙂 ~ Blessings to you and yours Steve ~

Haha…if it rains continually for approaching 30-40 days straight, I’d think about that Ark! Good thing God promised He won’t destroy the earth again by flood!!

Yes, pray for rain here. We do need it very desperately! And the same blessings to you and your family too Deborah…

Thanks for the rain wishes Deborah! I’m afraid not much if any rain made it this far south…

Glad it helped the fires up your way, and yes we need to thank the firefighters all up and down the West coast for their efforts!

Rain prayers still going up to the One who controls the climate. So much talk about climate change these days . . . hum wonder why that is . . . I think it really does have to do with man polluting the air . . . with their sin!

Oh there may be some climate changes going on. And man is plenty sinful, no doubt about that. I just don’t believe we will cause our own extinction by way of anything. Only God will bring an end to the world by sending back His Son one day…
