What’s Your Mountain ~
Mountains seem to come,
in all forms and sizes
some are tall and steep
some have narrow rises.
Some are rough and tough,
some have a gentle slope
but, no matter the terrain
we must not lose our hope.
Some are humongous,
some are molehill small
some we can climb over
some from we often fall.
Some are smooth and level,
some are slick and slippery
but, one thing that is sure
we all want to have victory.
No matter what the size,
or shape your mountain is . . .
if you give it to Jesus
He will gladly make it His!

Matthew 21:21
“Jesus answered and said unto them,
Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith,
and doubt not, ye shall not only do this
which is done to the fig tree, but also
if ye shall say unto this mountain,
Be thou removed, and be thou cast into
the sea; it shall be done.”

It’s God’s Rainbow ~
The rainbow isn’t a banner,
of one’s lust and pride
nor a place where from God
sin can go to hide.
It doesn’t represent,
freedom to make choices
nor should it be used as a flag
to shut out opposing voices.
It isn’t about liberty,
in a diverse generation
nor a pledge to sue those
who hold a Christian foundation.
The rainbow belongs to God,
it is His promise to the world
that on this earth never again
will He let a flood be unfurled.
It will surround His throne,
during the great tribulation
for those who call on Jesus . . .
for mercy and salvation!
~~~~~~~~
Revelation 4:3
“And he that sat was to look upon
like a jasper and a sardine stone:
and there was a rainbow
round about the throne,
in sight like unto an emerald.”
The Promises of Peace ~
God’s promises of peace,
are written throughout the Bible
within the pages are woven
promises of renewal and revival.
He promises to comfort us,
in times of suffering and sickness
when hardships come our way
He sends promises of stillness.
He promises to give us strength,
in times of sorrow and grief
when life pressures build up
He gives the promise of relief.
God promises of peace,
surpasses our comprehension
guarding our hearts and minds
to calm all our apprehension.
With the promise of forgiveness,
comes peace and security
that in heaven with Jesus
we will spend all of eternity.
He promises us perfect peace,
when we fix our eyes . . .
on the One who promises us
all our needs, He will supply!
whose mind is stayed on thee:
because he trusteth in thee.”
Do Not Go Astray ~
Do not lose heart,
do not go astray
from the Good Shepherd
be not lead away.
Do not give up,
do not give in
do not let temptation
ever, ever win.
Do not wander,
do not roam around
do not lose the faith
that you have found.
Do not turn,
do not separate
do not get distracted
from the narrow gate.
Do not leave,
do not go your own way
do not let sin tempt you
from God to ever sway!
~~~~~~~~~~
Isaiah 53:6
“All we like sheep
have gone astray;
we have turned
every one to his own way;
and the Lord hath laid on him
the iniquity of us all.”

Disarming Satan ~
Every day there is a war,
and we must be prepared
lest in one of Satan’s traps
we find ourselves ensnared.
Before the warning bell,
sounds its harsh alarm
with the Word of God
we must be readily armed.
We must be equipped,
with our battle Verses
so we can fight off the lies
Satan eagerly disburses.
The Scriptures contain,
all the ammo that we need
if we use them in our fight
Satan’s army will concede.
In case of a surprise attack,
at the sound of the first alarm
just open up your Bible . . .
and Satan you will disarm!

Hungry, Thristy People ~
The world is full of hungry people,
with empty hearts to bear
the misery of their burdens
on themselves, they have to wear.
There’s an inner deafening void,
keeping them from being full
to the Holy Spirit’s urging . . .
they cannot feel, the inside pull.
The world is full of thirsty people,
where parched souls do dwell
they don’t believe Jesus . . .
will save them from a life of hell.
There’s an inner barrenness,
keeping them from being filled
with the life-giving waters
so their lives they can rebuild.
The world is full of people . . .
who needn’t hunger or thirst
if they would only seek. . .
God and His righteousness first!

Matthew 6:33
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God,
and his righteousness; and all these
things shall be added unto you.”

Jesus Will Heal ~
I know the pain,
that you feel
you don’t think
it will ever heal.
The void in your heart,
just won’t go away
no matter how hard
or often you pray.
I know the grief,
eating you up inside
you don’t think
it will ever subside.
Your heart hurts so,
the ache is deep
every time you laugh
you begin to weep.
I too have felt,
the pain you feel
but trust me ~ Jesus
in time will heal!

Getting On My Knees ~
Lord, I can sense a storm,
it’s heading my way . . .
I’m not sure what to do
to keep it at bay.
I can feel the ominous,
of dark clouds forming
soon on me I know . . .
it’ll be steadily pouring.
Lord, I can see it coming,
at any time it’ll be over me
I know I will be needing
to increase my faith in Thee.
I can feel the pressure,
it’s rising overhead
the only way through it
is if, I am Spirit lead.
Lord, I can sense a storm,
coming straight for me . . .
so, before it even gets here
I’m getting on my knees!
~~~~~~~~~~
Psalm 107:28-31
“Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble,
and he bringeth them out of their distresses.
He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves
thereof are still.
Then are they glad because they be quiet;
so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.
Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness,
and for his wonderful works to the children of men!”
God is There for You ~
May God’s grace,
today, be real to you
may He help you to know
what you need to do.
May His love,
shine light on your day
may His favor lead you
to trust Him along the way.
May God’s peace,
help you to be calm
may it be to your soul
a soothing, healing balm.
May His strength,
you drawn on to get by
may on His mighty power
you come to always rely.
May God’s mercy,
today, rain down on you
may you believe, this too . . .
He will help get you through!
Mountain Moving Faith ~
Lord, I got me this mountain,
I need for You to remove
I’ve got me this situation
only You can improve.
I got me this problem,
by myself I can’t resolve
I’ve got me this crisis
only You can absolve.
Lord, I got me this burden,
I don’t like my condition
I feel as if my trust in You
is suffering from malnutrition.
I got me this predicament,
alone I can’t figure out
I got me this dilemma
filling me with fear and doubt.
Lord, I got me this mountain,
it needs to be removed
but, I know it is my faith . . .
that needs to be improved!
Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith,
Be thou removed, and be thou cast into
