I’ve entered the race,
I’m going for the gold
to win it I’ll need . . .
to be brave and bold.
If I’m to finish well,
I’ll need to work out
my faith in Jesus
and shed any doubt.
I don’t want to run,
out of energy or steam
lest the crown of life
I won’t be able to redeem.
My eyes are on the future,
I’m in it for the long-haul
I want to hear Jesus say . . .
My servant, who was faithful.
My heart is set to prevail,
so to claim my victory
because heaven for me . . .
is my soul’s destiny!

1 Corinthians 9:24
“Know ye not that they which run
in a race run all,
but one receiveth the prize?
So run, that ye may obtain.”

AH, thanks Heidi . . . I do feel God’s love all around me. Sunday was hard and next Sunday marks the 1st year aniversary of my son’s death. But, I am hanging in there strong, refusing to get depressed and giving God all my praise for bringing me thus far.
Praying all is well with you and yours. Love and heavenly hugs!
