Whenever you are anxious,
nervous or fearful . . .
take it straight to the cross
give Jesus an earful.
Tell Him about your cares,
your every single worry
rest with Him for a while
do not be in a hurry.
Let Him know the reasons,
you feel like you do
speak with Him as if . . .
He’s right next to you.
In your conversation,
hold nothing back
tell Him all about
the faith that you lack.
Tarry and stay with Him,
until you begin to feel
His peace and serenity
the calmness, to be still.
When you are anxious,
give Jesus an earful . .
for He doesn’t want you
to be worried or fearful!

Lord, sometimes life,
chases me by the tail
that my need for You
starts to dim and pale.
With so much to do,
so many places to be
I find it hard to carve
time, for You and me.
Lord, sometimes life,
can get so very crazy
that my desire for You
grows a little bit hazy.
With having to be here,
needing to go there, too
I find it oh, so difficult
to stay focused in on You.
Lord, sometime life,
has me going in circles
please help me to be still
else, I’ll lose all my marbles!
🙂

Early in the morning
to God I pray . . .
for words of encouragement
He would have me to say.
Before the dawn breaks,
while I am still in bed
thoughts of comfort and hope
dance around in my head.
I rise up with His Son,
His Word I begin to read
to places of mercy and grace
I let the Holy Spirit lead.
I write for His glory,
I write hoping you will find
peace and tranquility . . .
to fill your heart and mind.
When I go to bed at night,
to God I pray . . .
that He will bless someone
with what, He gave me to say!
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thank you to all my faithful friends in Jesus.
It is truly my desire that the words God gives me
will be of a blessing to each of you and will
bring some comfort to your day!
Deborah, Deborah . . .
what is your soul’s focus
what is it bothering you so
that Me, you do not notice?
Deborah, Deborah . . .
what is your real trouble
what keeps you so anxious
why with Me, do you struggle?
Deborah, Deborah . . .
what is your heart’s concern
what causes so much worry
that from Me, you start to turn?
Deborah, Deborah . . .
what has you so distress
what has you in a turmoil
why from Me, do you digress?
Deborah , Deborah . . . .
what is your minds distraction
what are you so careful of
that I, can’t get your attention?
Deborah, Deborah . . .
if only you would put Me first
before you did anything else
then in Me, you’d be immersed!
I have been diagnosed,
with a fatal disease
soon my whole body
it will capture and seize.
The prognosis isn’t good,
my situation is dire
from the effects of it
I will surely expire.
The disease is invasive,
eating away at my soul
my mind and my heart
it too, will take control.
There’s no escape from it,
its all-encompassing
doctors tell me a remedy
they’ll not be discovering.
But, I know of a cure,
for the sickness called sin . . .
it’s the cleansing blood of Jesus
that heals the disease within!
He has risen . . .
sweet heavenly music from above
He has risen . . .
the epiphany of God’s true love.
For, His beloved Son,
died for you and me
so from the fiery pit
He could set us free.
He has risen . . .
hallelujah the angels sing
He has risen . . .
eternal life to man He brings.
For, Jesus is alive,
resurrected and living
in our lives
His Spirit is breathing.
He has risen . . .
the Lamb of God from above
He has risen . . .
with peace and eternal love!
Matthew 28:5-6
“And the angel answered
and said unto the women,
Fear not ye: for I know
that ye seek Jesus,
which was crucified.
He is not here:
for he is risen,
as he said.
Come, see the place
where the Lord lay.”
Which thief are you,
what one do you relate most to
the one who mocked Jesus
or the one who saw God, through?
Both wanted to be saved,
neither wanted to die
but only one had the courage
to look Jesus in the eye.
Both were sinners,
their punishment was death
but only one was saved
from hell’s fiery depth.
Both were convicted,
of their own evil offenses
but only one was willing
to come to Jesus’ defense.
Both were paying the price,
for all of their wrongs
but only one was repentant
and now in paradise belongs.
Which thief are you,
the one who mocks and blames
or the one who admits guilt
and is spared hell’s flames?
Luke 23:39-43
” And one of the malefactors
which were hanged railed on him, saying,
If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
But the other answering rebuked him,
saying, Dost not thou fear God,
seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
And we indeed justly; for we receive the
due reward of our deeds:but this man hath
done nothing amiss. And he said unto Jesus,
Lord, remember me when thou comest into
thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him,
Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou
be with me in paradise.’
Insulted and ridiculed,
poked and made fun of
for me Jesus was affronted
in the name of eternal love.
Bruised for my rebellion,
cursed and spit upon
for my own wickedness
Jesus was severely beaten on.
Wounded for my sins,
whipped and cruelly lashed
for my transgressions
Jesus was brutally slashed.
Pierced and stabbed,
left hanging on the cross
because of me, Jesus became
no better than a pile of dross.
My punishment He took,
my peace, He finally sealed
tis why by His stripes today
my soul to God is healed!
Betrayed with a traitor’s kiss,
from a known believer . . .
who would have thought it was
from the lips of the deceiver.
He appeared to everyone,
to be a faithful follower
to Christ and His ministry
he was a willing supporter.
But, Jesus knew his heart,
he saw evilness enter in
to place the kiss of death
on the One, who had no sin.
Upon the kiss of betrayal,
Jesus knew what He had to do
for, it was His Father’s will
to die for me and you.
Betrayed with a traitor’s kiss,
Jesus was on that day
for, He knew that into heaven . . .
there was no other way!
Man of our sorrows,
rejected and despised
unloved, unwanted
loathed and chastised.
Man of our sufferings,
acquainted with affliction
grief, pain, anguish
trials and conviction.
Man of our depression,
mournful and devastated
dejected, forgotten, isolated
set apart and terminated.
Man of our deception,
tempted and enticed
lured, beguiled, charmed
with every evil device.
Man of our diseases,
illnesses and sickness
maladies, disorders, decay
rebellion and brokeness.
Man of our sorrows,
sufferings and deceptions
Man of our salvation . . .
died for our transgressions!
~~~~~~~~~~
Isaiah 53. 3-5
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows,
and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were
our faces from him; he was despised, and we
esteemed him not.
Surely he hath borne our griefs,
and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem
him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
But he was wounded for our transgressions,
he was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon him;
and with his stripes we are healed”
