Early in the morning
to God I pray . . .
for words of encouragement
He would have me to say.
Before the dawn breaks,
while I am still in bed
thoughts of comfort and hope
dance around in my head.
I rise up with His Son,
His Word I begin to read
to places of mercy and grace
I let the Holy Spirit lead.
I write for His glory,
I write hoping you will find
peace and tranquility . . .
to fill your heart and mind.
When I go to bed at night,
to God I pray . . .
that He will bless someone
with what, He gave me to say!

Thank you to all my faithful friends in Jesus.
It is truly my desire that the words God gives me
will be of a blessing to each of you and will
bring some comfort to your day!

I pray the same sentiments. This is great, and it encourages me. Thank you for letting God speak through your words.

Thanks for your response. You “spend about five or so hours each day reading scriptures, studing, praying..” Please how are you able to that, combining it with your regular work? Or are you a full time minister of the gospel? I truly believe that we can learn from you.

I am retired . . . and I do think this is my ministry so I give it my full attention. Upon waking I go to my office with a cup of coffee and tell the Lord the rest of the day is His. He leads me in and out of the Word, prayer, worship and study and then I write what I have learned in a poem. I do this every morning that I am at home. I avearge about 5-6 hours a day 5 days a week. I love this time it is the best part of my day!

Thank you Victor! I spend about five or so hours each day reading scriptures, studing, praying, and I usualy have the beginnings to a poem. Each poem is an inspiration from that day’s worth of learning and as you are well aware there is always something new to learn in the Bible : ) ~ Blessings ~
