Every day is a hopeful journey,
from the old into the new
every day is an opportunity
Lord, to grow closer to you.
In my daily travelings,
if I venture off too far . . .
send me the directions
right back to where You are.
Every day is a trusting journey,
in the light, of a new dawn
every day is an opportunity
to be Spirit, lead and drawn.
As I walk, on the road of faith,
if I should fall on my face . . .
I pray Lord, You will catch me
in the arms of Your loving grace.
Every day is an abiding journey,
from the old into the new
every day is an opportunity
