Thanksgiving Day Prayer ~

Lord, this year bless my family,
not just with food on the table
give them a real good helping
of all things that You are able.

Give them daily provisions,
of hope, mercy and grace
supply them with the strength
for running the faithful race.

Give them eternal patience,
for all the ruts in the road
let them grasp the meaning
of You taking up their load.

Give them daily renewal,
of their mind, heart, soul
fill them with the Holy Spirit
so their lives You can control.

Lord, this year bless my family,
with more than food on the table
may seeking Your perfect will . . .
become their lifelong staple!
