If we’re to be transformed,
on the Potter’s wheel
then as the clay . . .
we must be still.
The process is not fast,
a lot of time it will take
so the Potter’s image
into us He can make.
The clay needs to be soft,
it must be willingly pliable
so from its worthless state
He can make it justifiable.
Once on the Potter’s wheel,
the clay will wobble to and fro
but, He controls the speed
til His mercy begins to flow.
The Potter molds His vessel,
and foresees the finished work
if there’s any cracks or flaws . . .
the clay He is able to rework.
If we’re willing to be formed,
into something beautiful . . .
on the Potter’s wheel
we must remain flexible!

Jeremiah 18:3-4
“Then I went down to the
potter’s house, and, behold,
he wrought a work on the wheels.
And the vessel that he made of clay
was marred in the hand of the potter:
so he made it again another vessel,
as seemed good to the potter to make it.”

How wonderful Debora that God does keep us flexible by His Love and also keeps us from Satan’s fire (see below) so we don’t become hardened like those in the world do when suffering adversity or like those who have been deceived by false teaching and so do not see the Beauty you and I and all those that know Him as He really is do.
Isaiah 43:1-3 When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.”
Lamentations 3: 33 For God doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.
We see our Abba Father as our Loving Potter whose plans for us are always good (Jeremiah 29 :11-12) and even when He disciplines us by letting us go our own way and we reap the evil that what we sow, He still protects our souls and also sends His Redeemed Children to chastise us by rebuking and warning us when we are going in the wrong direction, yes our Awesome God is Love, Yesterday, Today and for Eternity.
Blessings and Christian Love – Anne
