Today I am getting ready,
for there is a battle to fight
and I am going to be suited
in the power of Jesus’ might.
I am going to be putting on,
the girdle of truth and grace
then I will be able to look . . .
Satan right in his ugly face.
When the devil looks at me,
he’ll wonder just who I am
but soon he will figure out
I am a child of the Lamb.
I know Satan will tempt me,
it’s become a daily thing
but onto my Lord and Savior
my flesh is going to cling!
