I can do nothing without God,
even though He knows I try
but, when I sow on my own
I’m usually left high and dry.
There’s not one thing I can do,
that will last or succeed
for without God’s directions
all my seeds turn into weeds.
I may think I can do it,
for my plans seem so right
but without God’s assistance
there’s always a spiritual fight.
I can do nothing without God,
but, when to His will I resign
I can harvest all of the fruit
right off His one True Vine!

John 15:5
King James Version
” I am the vine, ye are the branches:
He that abideth in me, and I in him,
the same bringeth forth much fruit:
for without me ye can do nothing.

John 15:4 – 7 was the Scripture for my Pastor’s Sermon today. Deborah Ann – I explicitly recognized you and another Christian poet in my ‘The Art of Blogging’ today. Please check it out. Grace, mercy, and peace. Greg
