Got me a new birth certificate,
on the day I was born again
I was so excited to have Jesus
come into my life and reign.
I received a brand new heart,
on the day I opened the door
inviting Jesus to come right in
not knowing what was in store.
He took a close look around,
saw what I could never see
He said He was going to form
His image right into me.
I had to give up the old life,
for the one He was to mold
He told me when He was done
I would be as good as gold.
It took Him quite a while,
to turn my life around . . .
but now my birth certificate
says ~ I’m heaven bound!

John 3:5-7
King James Version
“Jesus answered,
Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born of water
and of the Spirit,
he cannot enter into
the kingdom of God.
That which is born
of the flesh is flesh;
and that which is born of
the Spirit is spirit.
Marvel not that I said unto thee,
Ye must be born again.”

Funny you should post this today. So true! 🙂
The song I can’t get out of my head this week is by Shane & Shane; ” I Came Alive”……..”Oh, I came alive, took a breath for the very first time. When you called my name, I came running”. Honey, I know you’re not the musical sort, but you will LOVE the poetry of the lyrics! Check it out! 🙂

I love your post. Consider an added benefit of being born again. Consider John 14:20.
Blessings to you,
