Life has many up hills,
that we all need to climb
some we get over quickly
other’s take a longer time.
Some we scramble over,
other’s we have to scale
some makes us stronger
other’s leave us weak and frail.
Sometimes we suffer pain,
often all we do is cry
at times, we can’t stop asking
“Why, oh God, why?”
But no matter the ascent,
or how high we have to go
God’s promises to help us
reach the valley below!

“Teaching them to observe all things
whatsoever I have commanded you:
and, lo, I am with you always,
even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

Thank you so much for sharing! Just curious, do you write your poems then choose your verse, or choose the verse and then write the poem?

In my morning studies, I usually will get a verse that speaks to me. I study the verse or verses for a few hours and then as the Spirit moves me I write the poem. The poem can take days to fine tune, or sometimes it only takes a few minutes. Some of them are from my own experiences and other’s are from the experiences of others. Have you written any yet? I would love to see them on your blog. Let me know if I can help out with any information. I have some good resources I can share with you. ~ Blessings ~

I have not. I really don’t know where to start. Not something I have ever even tried. When I came across your blog, I thought it was the neatest thing. Any resources and information you are willing to share would be great. You can email if you prefer.
