There is a vast hollow,
an empty space I feel
and I know it’s a void
that only God can fill.
So, I turn my face to Him,
I lift up my barren soul
I pray to Him asking
to fill up the gaping hole.
He gives me His peace,
then offers up more grace
now true contentment
fills up the lonely space.
No longer is there a hollow,
I’m focused on God above
the gaping void now overflows
with the fullness of His love!

Ephesians 3:18-19
King James Version
“May be able to comprehend with all saints what is
the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge,
that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.”

I absolutely love these lines:
He gives me His peace,
then offers up more grace
now true contentment
fills up the lonely space.
I especially cherish the sentiment that He offers up more grace. This is so so true. It’s like He never runs out. Diurnally He lavishes this good stuff upon us.
Thank you for sharing this! Enjoy your day!
