Where is your gift of peace,
where do you keep it . . .
is it found in a bottle of booze
or that cigarette you just lit?
Where is your gift of peace,
how many pills does it take
how many drugs do you need
till you no longer shake?
Where is your gift of peace,
when will the violence end
when will you stop hurting
your family and your friends?
Where is your gift of peace,
how much longer will you look
to the world for the answers
and not in the Good Book?
Where is your gift of peace,
where do you keep it . . .
how much longer from God
will you keep your sin a secret?
Jesus, is the Prince of Peace,
He’s your strength in all things
but you must turn to Him . . .
and confess to Him everything.
Then you will find the calm,
of God’s eternal peace . . .
and from these worldly things
in Jesus, you will be released!

Isaiah 9:6
King James Version
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given:
and the government shall be upon his shoulder:
and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor,
The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

Yes it is amazing! We sometimes do everything in our power to fix or heal or mend the pain but only at the foot of the Cross will we find our true rest and comfort. Amen and Amen and Amen! ~ Merry CHRISTmas Greg and a Blessed New Year to you and yours ~
