I can’t find Christ in CHRISTmas,
it’s like they erased away His name
replacing Him with some greetings
that just don’t mean the same.
Happy Holidays,
is just too bland and generic
although it’s sounds pleasant
it doesn’t capture the true spirit.
Season Greetings,
doesn’t express or say anything
about the life-saving reason
the season we are celebrating.
Merry Xmas,
can it get any worse?
Yet, people can say Jesus Christ
when they swear and curse.
I can’t find Christ in CHRISTmas,
the world continues to resist
the Savior born on CHRISTmas
it’s as if He doesn’t even exist!

Isaiah 9:6
King James Version
“For unto us a child is born,
unto us a son is given:
and the government
shall be upon his shoulder:
and his name shall
be called Wonderful Counsellor,
The mighty God,
The everlasting Father,
The Prince of Peace.”

That was beautifully written! I get so confused on what these people think it is that they are celebrating. Why do they observe the “season”. What exactly is so significant if it’s not about the birth of our Lord and Savior? I wrote a similar blog about this last week. Merry CHRISTmas! God bless you!

Thank you for your kind words. I will go to your blog and read your post. I too am confused as to why people celebrate Christmas is they are not believers . . . it seems so hypocritical of them. ~ Blessings and Merry CHRISTmas ~

That is so very true, however no matter how much the commercial world tries, Jesus our Savior will always be praised by His blood bought children. I remember days when Christmas was “only” about the birth of Christ. The change shows us believers that we are living in wonderful times—-He’s coming again and it may be soon!
Christmas blessings to you

Stephanie, I couldn’t agree with you more! This change points to His glorious return and someday every knee will bow to the Lord and King and all will believe in the Christ child that came to save the world and deliver them from the darkness within into His eternal light. Amen and Amen! ~ Blessings and Merry CHRISTmas to you and yours ~

Amen! I went to Barns & Nobles last night to try to find a gift for my little grandson. Didn’t find what I wanted so I wandered over to the gift card section to find a Christmas card for my daughter. Almost all of them said Happy Holidays and I found very little with the appropriate sentiment. How sad 😦

You’re right, they can never erase Him from us, but they will try to blot Jesus’ name out of the record books just as they are doing with God’s name right now! It is sad to see this Country marching to Satan’s drum and away from the God it so once trusted. ~ Blessings and Merry CHRIStmas ~
