There are too many Christians,
with long and mopey faces
who go around as if . . .
they don’t know about God’s graces.
When you meet them on the street,
they are always looking down
they walk as if . . .
they don’t carry God’s joy around.
Their smiles are thin and forced,
their eyes are dull and gray
their faces look as if . . .
they haven’t rejoiced a single day.
When you sit and talk to them,
their voices are low and depressed
they speak as if . . .
their happiness has been suppressed.
They can’t seem to understand,
the joy that you feel
they think as if . . .
you took some kind of a happy pill.
But as Christians ~ weโre to be joyful,
no matter what comes our way
for we know there are no “ifs” about
the One who strengthens us each day!

NO, and don’t say the “S” word!!! By the way, the “lemon juice” saying is not original–I heard it from Joseph Prince, who probably didn’t make it up either.

It’s been spitting on and off all day. No big white out but after 9:00 we are suppose to get and inch or so . . . but then it’s WA and about the only thing they get right is rain . . . but that’s a given. I love the snow so I say let it snow. We were without power Sat. from 6:00 am to 7.30 pm and it was 10 degrees that night and the high all day was about 19 degrees! I was frozen and it played a horrible toll on my body. I am in recuperation mode and will welcome above 32 degrees on Wednesday but of course this is WA! ~ Blessings ~
