I have lived a life of losses,
with hardship as my friend
and I’ve come to understand
that God will always mend.
For there is not a problem,
too great for Him to take
it’s when we don’t go to Him
we make our first mistake.
There isn’t a broken heart,
which He cannot repair
not a soul He won’t save
if they come to Him in prayer.
No trouble is too imposing,
no worry is too small
for Jesus came to heal
and restore one and all.
So no matter what your loss,
no matter where you’ve been
let God repair and mend
the effects of pain and sin!

Psalm 41:4
King James Version
“I said, Lord, be merciful unto me:
heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.”

Amen. There’s the key- “it’s when we don’t go to Him, we make our first mistake”. Wow, what a difference that would make if we all lived by that truth in every situation! Thanks

Thanks Deb, I love this poem. A great reminder that God is one who does the mending, not us! God bless you, dear sister. Your godly poems are a joy to read and ponder. I am planning to print some out in colour to decorate around our home…some will be perfect for my kids to learn too. 🙂
