Be Still and Know ~

Be Still used with permission Doorpost Verses on Facebook 2

Stop what you’re doing,
I want you to be awed
be still and know
that I am your God.

Quit trying,
let Me take care of you
quit stumbling
I know just what to do.

Quick fretting,
let Me work this out
quit worrying
give Me all that doubt.

Quit panicking,
I have your front and back
quit struggling
I know what you lack.

Quit fussing,
your future is in My hand
quit complaining
your days I have planned.

Quit resisting,
you can’t do this on your own
quit defying
let My way to you be shown.

Be still . . .
and know that I am God
stop what you’re doing
and in Me ~ you’ll be awed.

Healing Waters ~

Peace that Surpasses used with permission IBible Verses on Facebook

In the depth of despair,
there is a gulf of grief . . .
where the sorrows of this life
leaves us begging for relief.

We thirst for healing waters,
for a peaceful resting place
where we can forget the pain
that’s too unbearable to face.

The hurting soul can’t calm,
or remove its own heartbreak
it needs the healing touch
of the One who won’t forsake.

The grieving soul can’t let go,
nor cause the ache to part
but God can and will . . .
relieve the throb in its heart.

In the depth of despair,
there is a gulf of grief . . .
and only Jesus can bring
the anguished true relief!

which passeth all understanding,

through Christ Jesus.”

From Knowing To Living ~

To be made alive in Jesus,
we have to put off the old man
God has a new one for us
that came with salvation’s plan.

God opened up our minds,
He’s softened our stony heart
showed us our sinful condition
then in Jesus, gave us a new start.

We’re no longer to wander aimlessly,
we are to walk in a different way
as we learn the truth’s Jesus taught
we must faithfully do what they say.

We must learn from head to heart,
the purposes He has for our lives
we need to follow hard after Jesus
if we want our faith to survive.

For, God has called us to be holy,
blameless without sinful quirks
to prove we are of His workmanship
created in Christ ~ to do good works.

If you want to be more like Jesus . . .
then your faith must keep on moving
you must go from just knowing
to a life in Him that is ~ truly living!

Ephesians 2:10
King James Version

“For we are his workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus unto good works,
which God hath before ordained
that we should walk in them.”

Marc Minter

Jesus is the well of the living water, the Holy Spirit.

“It was the last and most important day of the Feast. Jesus stood up and spoke in a loud voice. He said, "Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Does anyone believe in me? Then, just as Scripture says, streams of living water will flow from inside him." When he said this, he meant the Holy Spirit. Those who believed in Jesus would receive the Spirit later. Up to that time, the Spirit had not been given. This was because Jesus had not yet received glory.” ‭‭(John‬ ‭7:37-39‬)
