Grace saw beyond,
the worthless and unworthy
it looked past the sin
with its unmerited mercy.
Grace saw beyond,
the bondage of the soul
it broke loose the yoke
to heal and make whole.
Grace saw beyond,
the outward behavior
it looked past the wickedness
with its unwarranted favor.
Grace saw beyond,
the look of the proud
it recognized the helpless
standing out in a crowd.
Grace saw beyond,
the stony-human heart
it looked past the coldness
so love it could impart.
Grace saw beyond,
corruption, lust and greed
it came in the name of Jesus
so from works we’d be freed!

2 Timothy 1:9
King James Version
“Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling,
not according to our works,
but according to his own purpose and grace,
which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began”

Amen Deb. How I praise God for His grace – had it not been for that, I would be utterly lost.
God bless you,

Yes, Darrell has some really good photo’s and with his permission I am using them with my poetry. Some times I see a picture and I am inspired to write from it other times I have a poem that needs something to complete it and a really great picture will do just that. Looking forward to using some of yours too Sue. ~ Blessings ~
