Come and walk with Me,
I often hear these words
so, I stop and I wonder
is that Jesus’ voice I‘ve heard?
Come and walk with Me,
slow down for just awhile . . .
but, I’ve got so much to do
in all these heaps and piles.
Come and walk with Me,
there is still plenty of time . . .
but, I need to clean up the mess
and get through all the grime.
Come and walk with Me,
before it gets too late . . .
but, I need to cook the dinner
and get it to the plate.
Come and walk with Me,
I won’t always ask . . .
but, I still have the laundry
and just one more little task.
Come and walk with Me,
I so often ignore His call
so, tomorrow I will walk . . .
no matter what may befall!

O.K. … This has to be my favorite (and if I have said that before, ignore that!) … My favorite thing to do … get up early …. drive to the lake, and walk with Jesus!!! Nothing better!

There’s nothing like a walk in the park or along the oceans shores with Jesus. ~ Blessings ~

psalm 119 is rich in imagery. Come and walk with me is rich in that imagery, solicitating our heart and our imagination. I love it and that is a beautiful trellace bordered path as a lead in to this post. Well done!

Thank you for your kind words Daryl. Yes I love Psalm 119 and next year I plan to do a study just on this one verse. Imagine the poetry I will write from all the richness and insight it provides. ~ Blessings ~
