Living in the light,
brings about true freedom
it will give you access
to God’s eternal kingdom.
It exposes the sin,
that is enslaving you
as it directs you to the cross
it will show you what to do.
Living in the light,
gives new purpose to life
no more aimless drifting
no more fighting daily strife.
It will guide and lead you,
closer to God every day
for the truth will shine
grace and mercy on your way.
Living in the light,
brings joy and vitality
gone are the gloomy days
for there is a new reality.
No more living in fear,
no more feeling all alone
living in the light
is trusting in God’s Son.
Living in the light,
isn’t very hard to do
but, following Jesus
is all up to you!

John 8:12
King James Version
“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying,
I am the light of the world: he that followeth me
shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”

Hallelujah! After living in a dark cave for years, I am overjoyed to be living in the light now. Great poem, Sis!
