Tears drip,
from swollen eyes
rejection again . . .
the heart cries.
Loss of arm,
or another limb
would hurt no more
or be less grim.
To feel the pain,
of denial
then to have to . . .
force a smile.
There can be,
no greater grief
but God’s mercy
will bring relief!

Psalm 56:8
King James Version
“Thou tellest my wanderings:
put thou my tears into thy bottle:
are they not in thy book?”

Me too, a friend emailed me and told me her book was once again rejected . . . I thought of all the rejection that I have faced and wrote this . . . looking back I see how mercy wiped every tear dry and took away the pain. God is so good to us~ Amen ~
