Cast all your cares upon Jesus,
give to Him all of your fears
let the love of your Savior
dry the river of your tears.
Shed those anxious thoughts,
the fretfulness in your mind
and the serenity of God
you will come to know and find.
Release all of your worries,
every concern trapped inside
give them over to Jesus
and in His peace you’ll abide.
Free yourself from the stress,
do not let fear be your slave
let go and let God comfort you
and from your dread He will save.
Cast all your care upon Jesus
for He cares for you . . .
give Him your heavy burdens
and your every fear too!

1 Peter 5:7
King James Version
“Casting all your care upon Him,
for He cares for you.”

Deborah Ann, my ‘right-on-time’ with a word friend,
How I needed these words today:
‘Shed those anxious thoughts,
the fretfulness of your mind…..’
‘Free yourself from your distress,
do not let fear be your slave’
Thanks….thanks.

This is beautiful and timely–have you thought about publishing a whole book of these together? What a lovely gift they’d make.

A book would be nice and I am leaving that in the Lord’s hands. So, how many copies do you want? 🙂 ~ Blessings ~

SOLD! No I’d give them to all of you for free 🙂 the only payment would be for you to continue to bless me with your words and for Deb to come back to her blog so I can be blessed by them also. ~ Blessings and prayers for you sis.~

You’re so very generous–that’s what I love about my sisters here!! I keep workin’ on Deb–quietly, not nagging–hoping she’ll be back sometime.

Go ahead and nag . . . it’s that Christian thing to do? Opps, that was a typing error . . . lost my computer glasses and responding here with my readers . . . Pray I find the others soon or else I will not be responsible for my posts as my eyes cannot see what my fingers are saying!!! ~ Blessings ~

I so agree. Today I was fretting about something and I re-read this poem and heard the Lord say “Give it to Me” and so I did! ~ Blessings ~
