When I consider the lilies
I stop fretting . . .
over the cares of my life
for when I think of the lilies
I stop worrying . . .
about what causes me strife.
When I consider the lilies,
I stop fussing . . .
over my wants and needs
for when I think of the lilies
I start trusting . . .
and I get down on my knees.
When I consider the lilies,
I am thankful . . .
God will hear my plea
for when I think of the lilies
I just know . . .
Jesus will take care of me!

Matthew 6:28-29
King James Version
“And why take ye thought for raiment?
Consider the lilies of the field,
how they grow; they toil not,
neither do they spin:
And yet I say unto you,
That even Solomon
in all his glory was not
arrayed like one of these.”
