Take Me Deeper Lord ~

Take me deeper Lord, take me deep,
no more just skimming the surface
no more being shallow or superficial
no more just giving You lip service.

Take me deeper Lord, take me deep,
take me to the center of Your life
no more lack of spiritual power
take me out of my self-imposed strife.

Take me deeper Lord, take me deep,
take me to where You’re in control
no more self-centered desires
take me to where I surrender to You all.

Take me deeper Lord, take me deep,
take me to the depth of Your heart
no more not trusting or doubting
take away from me what keeps us apart.

Take me deeper Lord, take me deep,
take me to where we are immersed
no more wandering or roaming around
take me to where I’ll put You first.

Take me deeper Lord, take me deep,
deeper more, deeper yet, deeper still
take me all the way down into You
until I rise knowing Your perfect will!
