It’s not about the fall,
or the number of times we fail
it’s about getting back up
even though we are frail.
It’s not about the troubles,
that we get ourselves in
it’s about our decision
whether to continue in our sin.
It’s not about the breakdown,
or the times we come apart
it’s about if we emerge
with repentance in our heart.
It’s not about the wheat,
that goes through the sieve
it’s about the chaff that remains
and the ones who still believe.
It’s not about the fall,
or the number of times we fail
it’s about the times we rise
knowing God’s mercy will prevail!

Proverbs 24:16
King James Version
“For a just man falleth seven times,
and riseth up again: but the wicked
shall fall into mischief.”

Again a well thought out poem and testament to God. Share a new one of mine with you.
The Shining Light Of His Love
You see The Light Shining Bright Across The Land
Pointing The Way To the tomb where It All Began
Pushing Back The Darkness As it ’s sins are ever Turning
See the Son rise hearing his gentle call the heart yearning
From the darkness born of men’s original sin and dimed light
Then that yearning for the light when answered sets darkness to flight
Our life in spin holds the darkness In, until the beauty of the Son Rises within
Nothing unclean can stand before the Thrown of light
Though their darkness sometimes lets stars shine
Their not bright enough to stand the glory of the son
My days are changed since I was gathered by the Son
Now I walk in the darkest night in the son’s inner light
That calms the Heart and lets the Mind that His light in Me does shine
Like darkness overtaken by His light of Love Shining in each dark hart below
Till each Heart shines to every corner within with Jesus His love light Glow
No I walk the land of darkness that my love can ban .by shining the light of God’s Son
The darkness of evil seems to ever grow will be banished from the Bright Light of the One
In you it may show if you call on His name and end your shame and Grow till called to His thrown
There you will see those called Home by the light shared with you that you have gathered and sown
