I pace, I walk,
I toss and turn
wring hands
stomach churns.
Anxious, nervous
panic-stricken
my uneasiness
starts to sicken.
I pray, I plea,
I beg and implore
to a God
who won’t ignore.
Peaceful, blissful
calm sets in
my apprehension
I give over to Him.
I rest, I wait,
I trust and believe
praying hands
peace achieved!

Philippians 4:6-7
King James Version
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer
and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests
be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which
passeth all understanding, shall keep
your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

Sometimes mine are so busy doing what they think they should be doing when instead I should just use them for praying for what God wants me to do with them!
