He is Worthy . . .

Worthy by Meliza Celeridad free photo #14942

He is worthy of our praise,
of our song of trust
He is worthy, oh so worthy
because we know, He is just.

Let us not forget,
the chorus of His grace
let His love humble us
when we seek His face.

He is worthy of our affection,
of our heart and soul
He is worthy, oh so worthy
because of Him, we are whole.

Let us not forget,
mercies everlasting refrain
the words of undying love
until Jesus comes again.

He is worthy of our praise,
of our song of trust
He is worthy, oh so worthy
may His glory shine in us!

The Cross of Compassion ~

The Cross of Compassion ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann ~

I cried the day I met Jesus,
I wailed, I bawled, I groaned
I cried learning how He died
I wept, I sobbed, I moaned.

I cried when I found out,
He was crucified  to save me
I cried when I discovered
in His death I was set free.

I cried when I first knew,
by His death I was justified
I wept, I wailed, I sobbed
the day I heard Jesus died.

I cried when I received,
the gift of His eternal passion
I cried when I found my hope
on the Cross of His compassion.

I cried the day I envisioned,
the blood stains on His face
I wept, I sobbed, I moaned
thanking God for His grace!

The Tapestry of His Love ~

The Tapestry of His Love ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann

He took two threads of love,
and wove me in the womb
covered me with a tapestry
that was made upon His loom.

He did the fine needlework,
of all the fibers of my frame
He skillfully sewed us together
so our image would be the same.

He embroidered in my soul,
the desire to know His will
then interlaced us together
with the Holy Spirit’s seal.

He stitched so intricately,
all the details inside of me
so that the fabric of His life
the unwoven eye could see.

He held the needle in His hand,
and used love as His thread
He formed me in the womb
and to Him ~ I’m forever lead

Thank You Jesus ~

psalm-63-4 by darrell creswell used with permission

Thank you Jesus,
for dying for me today
I know there isn’t anything
I can ever do  ~ to repay.

For Your gift of grace,
is one that has no price
I can’t reimburse You
for Your own, sacrifice.

But, I can give you my life,
and turn no more to sin
I can let You capture my soul
and claim Your triumphed win.

I can praise Your holy name,
with faith that is unshakable
I can cry Hallelujah
for making heaven attainable

Thank you Jesus,
for dying for me today
I am so very grateful
for You  ~ everyday!

My Hope ~

Hope Restored by Michael McFatridge free photo #5529

My hope doesn’t disappoint,
it never lets me down
my hope I can count on
I know it’s always around.

My hope is full of stillness,
it brings calmness and peace
my hope is everlasting
for it will never cease.

My hope is perpetual,
forever it goes on
my hope is never-ending
no way will it be gone.

My hope is in the promises,
that I find in His Word
my hope is my salvation
from the truth I have heard.

My hope has no real measure,
it can’t be tied up or bound
my hope is inexhaustible
it can always be found.

My hope fills me with power,
it is strong and steadfast
my hope is in the Lord Jesus
and into eternity it will last!

Our Hope ~ Our Joy ~ Our Peace ~

Our Hope ~ Our Joy ~ Our Peace ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann

May the God of our eternal hope,
fill you with endless love and peace
may you find your true happiness
for He is right within your reach.

May His joy descend around you,
like a beam falling from the sun
may you be bathed in the serenity
of the love from His begotten Son.

May His hope fill you to the brim,
with everlasting gladness and delight
may you join paradise’s jubilation
and come to know His saving light.

May you know the calm of His grace,
and the abounding sense of bliss
may you give your heart to Jesus
so heaven you’ll not miss.

May Jesus fill you with His strength,
and with the Holy Spirit’s power
may you come to know the truth
and accept His love for you this hour!

Word Garden ~

Bible with Flowers by Bruce Jennings free photo #2717

There is a place of calm,
for all of us to find
a place to just let go
and find peace of mind.

Mine is in God’s garden,
amid His Word I do reap
promises of green pastures
the gathering of His sheep.

As I walk along the path,
I bow to smell a rose
the scent of His undying love
in my heart forever grows.

I wander down the way,
and stop to pick a verse
I’m awed by His goodness
in His grace I’m immersed.

I sit upon the bench,
under the arbor of my soul
and rest in the knowledge
God is always in control!

The Only Forgotten Son ~

The Only Forgotten Son ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann ~

He wasn’t what they expected,
or what they thought He should be
and so they rejected . . .
what only their human eyes could see.

They couldn’t discern the promise,
for His appearance wasn’t kingly
and so they rejected . . .
what their hearts saw so unclearly.

They uprooted Him for fear,
He’d take the “Life from their tree”
and so they rejected . . .
the only one who would set them free.

They detested His lowliness,
a mere servant among the masses
and so they rejected . . .
the Messiah that rode in on an ass.

He once was despised by the crowds,
He is loathed by hoards today
now He is the Only Forgotten Son . . .
the world has turned away!

~~~~~~~~~~
Isaiah 53:2-3
King James Version
“For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant,
and as a root out of a dry ground:
he hath no form nor comeliness;
and when we shall see him,
there is no beauty that we should desire him.
He is despised and rejected of men
a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief:
and we hid as it were our faces from him;
he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
In The Wilderness of My Soul ~
In The Wilderness Of My Soul ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann
Lord, in the wilderness of my soul,
there are valleys deep and low
and sometimes I wander in them
not sure the direction I should go.
In my doubt, I meet with despair,
and my thoughts turn to giving up
for in my self-seeking efforts
I don’t see grace raised in Your cup.
In the wilderness of my soul,
there are mountains high and wide
and sometimes I tried to climb them
in the smugness of my pride.
In my own unwavering conceit,
with self-sufficiency in my stride
I can’t reach the mountaintop
without the Holy Spirit as my guide.
In the wilderness of my soul,
there is a path I must prepare
and make it a straightway
so that Your ways, I can declare.
There are a lot of thorns and thistles,
plenty of roadblocks and hurdles too
but, my sins I must get up and over
if I want to get close and near to You.
Lord, there’s a wilderness in my soul,
a vast land of empty spaces
and long roads for me to travel on
with plenty of rough places.
But, I know that I’m on the right path,
and in the end  ~  it will lead to You
for, I’m on the road paved with mercy
and Your  grace to help me through!
paths straight.”
Survivor!
Locked and Chaned Doors by Balazas Toth free photo @9193
I’m a survivor,
I beat the odds
no longer trapped
in Satan’s claws.
Freed from evil,
the effects of sin
ever since Jesus
in my life came in.
Released from hell,
in that awful pit
no longer stuck
in the mire and grit.
He took my sins,
carried them away
then in my heart
He came to stay.
Loosened my soul,
from the ugly stain
opened heaven’s door
unlocked the chain.
I’m a survivor,
Jesus saved me
from sin’s darkness
I am set free!
Half-hearted Trust ~
Half-Hearted Trust ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann
Half-hearted trust,
is like wholehearted doubt
whenever we think
we can’t figure God out.
Our part is to believe Him,
His part is to lead
but, it’s not going to happen
if His will we don’t heed.
We need to be confident,
that God will do His part
we must be convinced
with the wholeness of our heart.
You either trust Him with all,
or everything with nothing
and if you’re half-hearted
He’ll know you’re bluffing.
This you’ll have to ask,
when you need comprehending
“Am I going to lean on God’s . . .
or my own understanding?”
King James Version
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.”
Tears From Heaven ~
Tears From Heaven ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann
The tears left their ducts,
where more would fall from
for His eyes see the sadness
of the days still yet to come.
They well within their rims,
till they begin to over flow
for His eyes see the sorrow
of what only He could know.
They trickle down His cheeks,
as they slowly start to run
for His eyes see the world
without the love of His Son.
They flood from their brims,
and puddle onto the floor
for His eyes see the day
this world will be no more.
Tears fall from up in heaven,
like a thunderous mighty rain
so many still live their lives . . .
in futileness and in vain.
God cries for the unsaved,
the lost, the unforgiven . . .
His tears reflect those who reject
what His Son has so freely given!
He’s our mighty fortress,
our everlasting stronghold
He makes the frail and weak
into His soldiers, bold.
Come join His army,
Don’t Abort Me
Human_Embryo_-_Approximately_8_weeks_estimated_gestational_age commons.wikimedia
Don’t abort me,
I want to live . . .
there is so much
that I have to give.
Don’t abort me,
I have a soul
let me grow in you
until I am whole.
Don’t abort me,
I’m growing me some legs
I’m more than a blob
out of one of your eggs.
Don’t abort me,
see my tiny heart beat
if you will  keep me
I’ll grow into my feet.
Don’t abort me,
look at what I can be
my eyes are forming
I can’t wait to see me.
Don’t abort me,
I know that you can hear
look what is happening
I’m getting me, my ears.
Don’t abort me,
my lips long to say
that I love someone
somewhere along the way.
Don’t abort me,
I’ll meet you halfway
put me up for adoption
just don’t throw me away!
The Throne of Grace
Throne of the Heart by Stephen Corbett free photo #10163
I throw myself,
on the throne of grace
God’s mercy my soul
longs to embrace.
My trust I lay,
at Jesus feet
sinner and Savior
finally meet.
He knows my heart,
my repentant tears
for in His books
are wandering years.
My life now follows,
His righteous ways
His Word and laws
directs my days.
To God’s glory,
my heart sings
from death eternal
His pardon brings.
One day soon,
with God I will walk
until then  . . .
Jesus will be my Rock!
I’m Crossing Over ~
crossing over by Jimmy Paragas free photo #7697
I’m crossing over,
nothing is going to stop me
not the storm, not the wind
not the waves on the sea.
I’m crossing over,
I’ll not go down with the ship
I’m hanging on to the helm
Jesus will keep me in His grip.
I’m crossing over,
soon I’ll be on safe ground
I’m not going to panic
Jesus won’t let me drown.
I’m crossing over,
there’s nothing to get in my way
I’m not losing my direction
Jesus is with me night and day.
I’m crossing over,
I won’t be tossed all about
there isn’t a storm I can’t beat
Jesus cures my every doubt.
I’m crossing over,
nothing is going to stop me now
I’ll fight the tempest in front of me
and Jesus is going to show me how!
Total surrender,
Total surrender,
Total surrender,
Bankrupt Lives ~
Bankrupt Lives ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann ~
Guilt was erased from us that day,
and for our souls, Jesus died and bled
when the thorns of our unrighteousness
were crowned around His perfect head.
Our vile sins are the thrash marks,
that were flogged deep into His chest
the Son of God became our justification,
and paid the price ~ for our eternal rest.
Bankrupt lives, on top of faithful shoulders,
our faults and unbelief He had to bear
the burden of each of our transgressions
on the Cross of Calvary Jesus had to wear.
Our hopelessness was sealed and nailed,
then hung upon that wooden bar
spikes driven into His hands and feet
the Lamb of God became our wayward scar.
The debt of our blame and condemnation,
was plunged deep into His forgiving side
piercing through to heaven’s gate
so He could receive His faithful bride.
Our rebellious, wicked, evil ways,
caught up to Him on that promised day
when at last it was finally over
His mercy became for us, the only way.
Free, unmerited, not deserving favor,
granted by God’s grace, and grace alone
His work on the cross finally finished
now He sits upon heaven’s throne.
Oh, that glorious, wonderful day,
when Christ rose from His earthly grave
bankrupt lives, now rich and lush
for His life ~ to all ~ He gave.
God Can ~
God Can ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann
Having a hard time,
these trying of days
having troubles
finding God’s ways?
Having trials and tests,
tribulations too
don’t know where to go
or what more you can do?
Having second thoughts,
and nagging doubt
having a hard time
figuring everything out?
Well, don’t give up yet,
or lose your hope
don’t you quit now
or throw in the rope.
For, what you can’t see,
God can . . .
and what you can’t do
God’s got a plan.
So, when you feel broken,
and at your wit’s end
remember God can . . .
repair, fix, and mend!
Tears . . .
Tears by John Emery free photo #14718
Today I felt like weeping,
so I went ahead and cried
I couldn’t stop the tears
no matter how hard I tried.
I was overcome with emotion,
no words to describe my pain
I knew something was wrong
yet, I just couldn’t explain.
There was a longing deep,
that I felt inside my soul
as the waves of sobs came
over me they took control.
I prayed and asked the Lord,
“What are these tears about?”
Then He whispered in my ear
“In Me ~ you needn’t doubt!”
The Table of Grace ~
Table of Grace ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann
At the table of grace sits a sinner,
a drunkard, a murderer and a thief
at the table of grace sits an adulterer
a liar and a denier of his own belief.
At the table of grace sits a sinner,
an abuser, a liar, an idolater
at the table of grace sits you and I
my brother, my sister, my neighbor.
At the table of grace sits Jesus,
who was beaten for our shame
at the table of grace sits the Christ
who took upon Himself our blame.
At the table of grace sits a sinner,
who partakes in the agony of His strife
at the table of grace sits our Savior
whose blood bought for all ~ eternal life!
The Fullness of God ~
Living in Fullness by Joe Krow free photo 4783
He isn’t the God,
of the have or have not’s
He is the God . . .
for all of our needs and wants.
He isn’t the God,
of the half-full, half-empty
He is the God . . .
who has for each one plenty.
He isn’t the God,
of only the poor in spirit
He is the God . . .
for every soul to inherit.
He isn’t the God,
of only the one who fears
He is the God . . .
who sees everyone’s tears.
He isn’t the God,
of only the meek and poor
He is the God . . .
knocking on every heart’s door.
He isn’t the God,
of only the deaf or mute
He is the God . . .
that is absolute.
He isn’t the God,
made up of iron or stone
He is the God . . .
who sits on heaven’s throne!
The Broken Heart ~
The Broken Heart ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann
A broken heart,
a soul that shatters
needs the One
who really matters.
Though time cures,
the hurting heart
Jesus will heal . . .
the broken part
Life is unkind,
can be so unfair
and we need Jesus
our pain to bear.
Human affection,
can be so cruel
but to Jesus we are
a precious jewel.
Jesus loves,
the broken heart
from the hurting one
He’ll never part!
When All You Have Left is Jesus ~
When All You Have Left is Jesus ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann
When all you have left is anguish,
when there’s nothing more to do
and all of your pain and suffering
has taken the very best from you.
When your trials turn to tribulations,
when they start to overburden you
and the measure of your troubles
you can no longer alone get through.
When your misery turns to despair,
when you feel a hopelessness inside
and another raging, internal storm
you don’t have the strength to ride.
When all you have left is Jesus,
when you finally come to your knees
and you give Him all your hardships
you’ll find He’ll fulfill all your needs.
For Jesus is our Friend and Savior,
and He will never disappoint
He is always there to help us . . .
before we reach our breaking point!
Divine Grace
Grace Free Unmerited
By the grace of God,
I am what I am . . .
His mercy and favor
is why I do what I can.
My words are idle,
they hold no worth
if they’re not from Him
they fall to the earth.
I labor in vain,
all my works are dust
without His grace
they’ll turn to rust.
I am nothing,
without God’s grace
I haven’t the power
to finish the race.
There’s nothing I do,
nothing I can be . . .
without divine grace
abundantly living in me!
1 Corinthians 15:10
Pierced ~
Pierced ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann
Pierced by our sins,
afflicted with their pain
the Son of God dies
for our eternal gain.
Crushed and rejected,
bearer of our sickness
His stripes are a display
of grace and forgiveness.
Stricken and cut down,
all our iniquities taken
the Healer of humanity
hangs dying and forsaken.
Bruised but not broken,
Jesus lives  on today . . .
but the world from Him
still turns  the other way.
Pierced and afflicted,
for eternities gain
Jesus nailed to the cross
Oh, think of the pain!
and carried our sorrows:
yet we did esteem him stricken,
smitten of God, and afflicted.
But he was wounded for our transgressions,
he was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon him;
and with his stripes we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray;
we have turned every one to his own way;
and the Lord hath laid on him
the iniquity of us all.”
Spring Tease ~
spring-tease-christian-poetry-by-deborah-ann
I thought I saw the sun peeking,
through the dark clouds today
and in between the snowflakes
I prayed Spring was on its way.
For, I’m tired of the chilly days,
and the long cold, frigid nights
oh, how I wish Spring would come
with its sunny, friendly sights.
I look at my barren garden,
longing to see my climbing rose
just the thought of its perfume
tickles my frozen little nose.
This prayerful hope for Spring,
comes like a breath of fresh air
making me feel all giddy . . .
as this winter has been a bear.
I know this taste of Spring,
is just a little tease . . .
but soon the Lord will bring
a gentle warming breeze.
But, for now I’ll just have to wait,
for nature’s way and law . . .
and trust in the Creator’s timing
that my feet will begin to thaw!
To every thing
A Quiet Heart ~
God_Wants_To_Talk_To_You free photo
A quiet heart,
must be still
to hear the voice
of God’s will.
An inward calm,
is our assurance
He’s in control
our reassurance.
Life in His hand,
is peace known
trust runs deep
His way is shown.
Abiding hope,
is His promise
eternal love
its accomplice.
A quiet heart,
must be thankful
to a God
who is tranquil.
A quiet heart,
must be full of peace
for God’s stillness
to bring it release!
Psalm 46:10
King James Version
“Be still, and know that I am God:”
One Single Nail ~
Just one Nail ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann
One nail was all it took,
to crucify Christ that day
all it took was just one nail
for the crowd to get their way.
One nail was all it took,
for the people to begin to yell
“Crucify Him, Crucify Him”
put the hammer to that nail.
One nail was all it took,
for them to secure His fate
one large iron nail became
the spike of their distaste.
One nail was all it took,
as their voices soared
“Crucify Him, Crucify Him”
and so they nailed the Lord.
One nail was all it took,
though they used all three
but it took just that one nail
so all sinners could go free.
All it took was that first nail,
for the crowd to be satisfied
one nail was all it took . . .
for Jesus to be sacrificed!
~~~~~~~

Mark 15:13-14
King James Version

“And they cried out again, Crucify him.”

” And they cried out the more exceedingly,
Crucify him.”

Cleansed ~

Cleansed ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann

Forgiveness divine,
repent and receive
the beauty of grace
when you believe.

Bathe in His mercy,
soak up His fullness
plunge yourself into
all of His goodness.

Washed of your sins,
released from the shame
when you trust Jesus
nothing ever is the same.

Healing compassion,
immersion of love
blood of our Savior
God’s gift from above.

Forgiveness divine,
today is the day
God’s mercy and grace
are just one prayer away!

1 John 1:9
King James Version

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful
and just to forgive us our sins,
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

It’s All About Jesus ~

It's All About Jesus ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann

It’s all about You Lord,
not about me . . .
it’s all about what You did
so that I could be ~ free.

It’s all about Your love,
the gift of eternal grace
it’s all about that day
my sins ~ You erased.

It’s all about Your life,
Your truth and way
it’s all about surrendering
to You ~ each day.

It’s all about Your strength,
Your might and power
it’s all about trusting . . .
You ~ every hour.

It’s all about Your mercy,
Your pity and compassion
it’s all about making
You ~ my true passion.

It’s all about You Lord,
not about me . . .
it’s all about Your blood
that I must die ~ to me!

The Storm Maker

BW Storm by Danielle Hartland free photo #1374

He is the storm maker,
He stirs up the seas
He is the force behind the wind
He’ll bring the world to its knees.

He is the voice in the thunder,
He’s calling all to repent
He is the lightning in the skies
on His existence ~ He won’t relent.

He is the quake in the earth,
He’s the tremor in the mountain
He  is the scorch on the desert
He’s the only life-giving fountain.

He’s the searing heat of the sun,
He is global warming . . .
and He wants the world to heed
to His repeated warning.

He is the Alpha and Omega,
the Creator of all things
and soon upon this earth
His judgments He’ll bring!

King James Version

“But the Lord shall endure for ever:
he hath prepared his throne for judgment.”

The Diamonds of His Grace ~

The Diamond's of Your Tears ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann

Are your tears like diamonds,
when to God you confess your sin
do they fall like raindrops
as they drip off your chin?

Is your heart remorseful,
of your every evil deed
will you give up your pride
and let the Holy Spirit lead?

Do your tears well up inside,
and come from deep within
do they fall like raindrops
when you cry out to Him?

Will you come to the Light,
to have your heart exposed
will you call upon His name
and let your sin be disclosed?

Have you looked into God’s eyes,
and wept from your disgrace
do you know your tears to Him . . .
are the diamonds of His grace?

Psalm 30:5

“For his anger endureth but a moment;
in his favour is life: weeping may
endure for a night, but joy cometh
in the morning.”

Will Work For Jesus ~

Will work for Jesus,
no matter the cost
looking to save
those who are lost.

Willing to labor,
without a fee
looking for those
He can set free.

Willing to go,
ready to leave
looking to help
others to believe.

Will travel far,
wide as I need
looking for hungry
people to feed.

Willing to forsake,
life as I know
looking to plant
water, feed, and sow.

Will take up cross,
with joy and pride
looking to gather
for Jesus ~ His bride!

Father, Hear Our Prayer ~

Praying Hands by Megan Isaacson free ohoto #13320

Father God, hear our prayer,
keep us in thy loving care
if we should wander off too far
lead us back to where You are.

As we go about our busy day,
be our guide, lead our way
if we happen to lose our direction
lead us back without objection.

Let us seek Your instruction,
help us over each obstruction
if we should falter or hesitate
lead us back to the narrow gate.

Father God, hear our prayer,
protect us from the wolves out there
if we should follow even one . . .
lead us back ~ to Your Son!

King James Version

and teach thee in the way

which thou shalt go:
I will guide thee with mine eye.”

Look at me,
I am fearfully made
I am so thrilled to be
brilliantly, amazingly made and formed
Lord into the likeness ~ of Thee.

Look at yourself,
look at what God has made
I am so excited for you
magnificently, superbly made and formed

we’re so very blessed to be . . .

Got God?

got God

You can ride through this life,
in an expense car . . .
but if you don’t got God
you won’t get too far.

You can make all the money,
to your heart’s desire . . .
but if you don’t got God
all you’ll earn is hell’s fire.

You can wear fancy jewelry,
buy the finest of clothes . . .
but if you don’t got God
you’ll have eternal woes.

You can live on an estate,
in an area ~ pricey and rich
but if you don’t got God
you’ll end up in hell’s ditch.

You can fly to the Islands,
or vacation in Rome . . .
but if you don’t got God
you’ll call hell your home.

You can sail the high seas,
on a fifty-foot yacht . . .
but if you don’t got God
you haven’t got naught.

You got to have God . . .
if you want what heaven brings
for He offers fine dining
with the King of Kings!

Where’s Your Bible?

Your Word My Light

For some their Bible sits,
on their coffee table
they only reach for it . . .
when their TV loses its cable.

Others keep it on a shelf,
where it gathers a lot of dust
they only pick it up . . .
if they feel that they must.

Some carry it with them,
when they go to church
they only open it up . . .
when a verse  they’re to search.

But, then there are the ones,
who read their Bible every day
they know they need to study it
and apply the truth to their way!

I am the way,

the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father,
but by me.”

Eyes Wide Open ~

Open My eyes by Elideth Ceniceros free photo 10896

Lord, open my eyes,
so that I might see
the envy and pride
still living in me.

Let me look upon,
the lust in my heart
help me to understand
what keeps us apart.

Make my soul ready,
for what You reveal
let me be appalled
so I may be healed.

Let me not turn away,
from the horrific sight
instead fill my vision
with Your wondrous light.

Lord, make my view clear
as You open my eyes
so to Your ways
I may be wise!

King James Version

“Open thou mine eyes,
that I may behold wondrous
things out of thy law.”

Grace Freely Given ~

Grace Freely Given ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann~

Grace freely given,
yet, seldom grace we share
with those whom we love
to show them we care.

We hold on to the past,
bitter, bitter old grudges
making ourselves the jury
and their earthly judges.

Forgiving we try,
forgetting takes so much more
to hurtful things said and done
we keep opening the door.

We pick out others faults,
we blame, condemn, criticize
yet, we cannot see the plank
in our very own  eyes.

Yes, these are Christian people,
that I am talking about . . .
to them grace is freely given
but for them, not easy to give out!

Romans 3:24
King James Version

“Being justified freely by his grace
through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:”

Smile, You Know Who Loves You!

Smile Jesus Love You by Jomayra Solo free photo #7668

What’s that look on your face,
why are you so depressed?
You know that with Jesus,
how much you’re truly blessed.

In this world, we’ll suffer loss,
things may not go our way
but Jesus came to give us
a new and brighter day.

Though you may feel empty,
Jesus fills you with His grace
and His tender mercies
He wants you to embrace.

I know your heart is heavy,
from the worries that your bear
but you know Jesus is the one
who will take away your cares.

Jesus has promised all of us,
to be Faithful and True
now there, that should help . . .
bring the smile out of you!

My Life Way Made To Please You ~

My Life Way Made To Please You ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann
My life was made to praise You,
to lift You up in song . . .
my soul was made to worship You
to glorify You all day long.

My mind was made to seek You,
to claim Your perfect peace
my heart was made to find You
to know a love that’ll never cease.

My ears were made to hear You,
to listen for Your quiet voice
my eyes were made to see You
to be a witness to Your rejoice.

My feet were made to follow You,
to walk in Your very steps
my legs were made to go after You
to follow in Your concepts.

My mouth was made to declare You,
to tell the universe about Your love
my lips were made to confess You
to tell the earth You’re my God above.

My life was made to please You,
to lift You up in song . . .
my soul was made so You’d be seen
amongst the world’s throng.

~~~~~~~~~
1 Thessalonians
and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye
have received of us how ye ought to walk
and to please God, so ye would abound more
and more.”
Praying Hands ~
Praying Hands
I pace, I walk,
I toss and turn
wring hands
stomach churns.
Anxious, nervous
panic-stricken
my uneasiness
starts to sicken.
I pray, I plea,
I beg and implore
to a God
who won’t ignore.
Peaceful, blissful
calm sets in
my apprehension
I give over to Him.
I rest, I wait,
I trust and believe
praying hands
peace achieved!
Philippians 4:6-7
King James Version
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer
and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests
be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which
passeth all understanding, shall keep
your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
