Lord, may your Holy Word,
convict me of my sin . . .
may it penetrate my life
and cut out the pride within.
May it humble me,
with the edges of its power
may be engraved in my mind
so satan I can overpower.
May it make me obedient,
with its piercing truthfulness
may it permeate into my soul
and fill me with faithfulness.
May it help me to be trustful,
with the sharpness of its might
may it make a way into my heart
so I will be pleasing in Your sight.
May it make me a conqueror,
with its discerning knowledge
may it breach the stony places
so Your grace I can acknowledge.
Lord, may your Holy Word,
convict me of my sin . . .
may it penetrate my entire life
until it is You ~ who lives within

Hebrews 4:12
King James Version
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful,
and sharper than any twoedged sword,
piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul
and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and
is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

Wendell, I am truly humbled by your gracious nomination . . . however, I must decline the award. I use to love the world, the money, the rewards and all the other stuff that success brought to me. I however, used it poorly. I loved it more than God, and followed it all the way down to the path of destruction. Since returning to my Lord of mercy, of greater grace then I deserve . . . I shun anything that brings to me any earthly glory, for it is all for Him that I do what I do.
So I will pass the award on to it’s rightful owner. . . .Jesus, I am nominating HIM as the Most Influential Person in my life award from here to eternity . . . Amen and Amen!
I am so thankful that this gift that He has given me touches your heart and I pray He will continue to share with me the words of His endless and undying love for all.
