Dark and light,
battle within
we fight so hard
to die to sin.
Arrows fall,
hot with fire
only God’s Word
douses the desire.
The tempter lies,
sound so sweet
without the truth
you can feel the heat.
The lion roars,
before he strikes
he’ll do anything
that he so likes.
Satan wants us,
to burn in hell
and so our souls
he’ll try to fell.
Dark and light,
battle within
but, we have Jesus
and we will win!
